PhotoEditorLite

Lightweight Photo Editor

Privacy Policy

PhotoEditorLite ("the App") is developed and published by Rizwan Jillani.

This Privacy Policy explains what information PhotoEditorLite handles and how that information is used.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

1. Photos and Images

PhotoEditorLite allows you to edit photos that you choose from your device's gallery or capture using the device camera.

Photo editing is performed on your device. Features such as background removal, collage creation, image compression, and other editing effects are processed locally.

Background removal uses on-device machine learning through Google ML Kit. Your photos are not uploaded to servers operated by PhotoEditorLite, and I do not have access to the photos you edit.

Your photos stay on your device. PhotoEditorLite does not upload your photos to its own servers.

The first time you use background removal, your device may download a small machine-learning model from Google Play services over the network. That download is handled by Google and is not a PhotoEditorLite server upload.

Edited photos are saved to your device's Photos/Gallery storage, including the application's designated storage location such as Pictures/PhotoEditorLite, or can be shared with another application that you choose.

PhotoEditorLite does not receive a copy of photos that you save or share.

2. Stickers and WhatsApp Sticker Packs

When you turn a photo into a sticker, PhotoEditorLite stores the sticker image in the App's private storage on your device.

You can group stickers into packs, rename packs, and remove stickers or packs. Sticker images and pack information are stored locally on your device.

You can also add a sticker pack to WhatsApp. When you choose this option, PhotoEditorLite makes the pack's stickers and tray icon available to WhatsApp on your device through a content provider intended for WhatsApp.

The sticker images and sticker-pack data are not uploaded to PhotoEditorLite servers or sent to PhotoEditorLite for storage.

Removing a sticker or sticker pack from PhotoEditorLite deletes the corresponding locally stored data from the App's storage.

Sticker data is processed locally. PhotoEditorLite does not upload your stickers or sticker packs to its own servers.

3. Slideshow Videos and Music

PhotoEditorLite allows you to create slideshow videos by combining photos that you choose on your device.

The slideshow video is generated locally on your device as an MP4 video. If you add background music, the music file is a file that you select from your device.

The finished slideshow video is saved to your device's Movies/PhotoEditorLite folder or can be shared with another application that you choose.

PhotoEditorLite does not upload the selected photos, music files, or finished slideshow videos to its own servers.

Slideshow processing happens on your device. Your photos, music files, and generated videos are not uploaded to PhotoEditorLite servers.

4. Permissions We Request

PhotoEditorLite requests only the permissions necessary to provide its features.

5. Advertising

PhotoEditorLite may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process information such as device identifiers, including the advertising ID, approximate location, device information, and app usage information for purposes such as serving, measuring, and improving advertisements.

Depending on your location and applicable requirements, advertisements may be personalized based on your consent and advertising settings.

You can manage or reset your advertising preferences through your Android or Google account settings where available.

6. In-App Purchases

Premium upgrades are purchased through Google Play Billing.

I do not see or store your credit card, debit card, or other payment details. Payment information is handled by Google Play.

PhotoEditorLite may receive confirmation that a purchase was completed, which is used to unlock Premium features in the App.

7. Data I Do Not Collect

PhotoEditorLite does not require account creation or login.

I do not directly collect or store:

I do not sell personal data.

8. Children's Privacy

PhotoEditorLite is not directed at children under the age of 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a server-operated service.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact me at rizwanjillani2015@gmail.com.

9. Data Retention

Because photo editing, sticker creation, and slideshow processing happen on-device and I do not receive your photos, stickers, videos, or music files, I do not retain these files on my servers.

Photos, stickers, videos, and other files saved to your device remain under your control and can be deleted using your device's Photos/Gallery or file-management features.

Advertising and billing-related information may be retained by Google according to Google's own policies and applicable requirements.

10. Data Security

PhotoEditorLite is designed to process photos, stickers, and slideshow content locally on your device rather than uploading them to my servers.

However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and the files stored on it.

11. Third-Party Services

PhotoEditorLite may use the following third-party services to provide its functionality:

These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to PhotoEditorLite, its features, third-party services, or applicable legal requirements.

When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated.

Where required, significant changes may also be communicated through the App or Google Play Store listing.
