AutoLog

1. Introduction

Welcome to AutoLog. AutoLog is a vehicle maintenance, fuel, expense, and reminder application developed by Aivyx Labs.

This Privacy Policy explains how AutoLog handles information when you use the application.

2. Information You Enter

AutoLog allows you to enter information related to your vehicles and vehicle usage.

This may include:

• Vehicle name and nickname
• Vehicle make and model
• Vehicle year
• Registration information
• Odometer readings
• Fuel records
• Fuel prices and expenses
• Maintenance records
• Service history
• Maintenance reminders
• Notes and other information you voluntarily enter

This information is used to provide the features and functionality of AutoLog.

3. Local Storage

Your vehicle, fuel, maintenance, expense, and reminder information is stored locally on your Android device using the application's local database.

AutoLog does not upload these records to a server operated by AutoLog.

Because this information is stored locally, AutoLog does not have access to your locally stored vehicle records unless you explicitly provide or share them through another method.

4. Backup Files

AutoLog may provide a backup and restore feature so that you can create a backup of your application data.

When you create a backup, Android's Storage Access Framework allows you to select where the backup file should be stored. This may include device storage, Google Drive, or another storage provider available on your device.

AutoLog does not automatically upload your backup file to its own servers.

Backup files remain under your control and may be deleted from the selected storage location by you.

5. Advertising

The free version of AutoLog may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

Google and its advertising partners may process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location, and information about interactions with advertisements, subject to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.

AutoLog may use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent where required.

Advertising practices may vary depending on your location, consent choices, device settings, and applicable regulations.

6. Remove Ads Purchase

AutoLog may offer a one-time purchase that removes advertisements from the application.

Payments are processed through Google Play Billing. AutoLog does not receive or store your credit card, debit card, or other payment details.

Google Play may process payment and transaction information according to Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.

7. Notifications

AutoLog may use Android notifications to provide local maintenance and service reminders.

These reminders are generated on your device based on the information and schedules you configure in AutoLog.

On Android versions that require notification permission, AutoLog will request the relevant permission before sending notifications.

8. Data Sharing

AutoLog does not sell your personal information.

Your locally stored vehicle records are not shared with AutoLog's servers because AutoLog does not operate a server for storing those records.

AutoLog may use third-party services required to provide certain application functionality, including:

• Google AdMob for advertising
• Google UMP for advertising consent management
• Google Play Billing for in-app purchases

These third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.

9. Data Deletion

Because AutoLog stores your vehicle information locally on your device, you can delete the application's locally stored data using Android's application settings.

Depending on your Android version, you can generally delete local AutoLog data by going to:

Uninstalling AutoLog may also remove its locally stored application data.

Backup files stored in locations selected by you are not automatically deleted when the application is uninstalled. You can delete those backup files separately from their storage location.

10. Children's Privacy

AutoLog is not directed specifically toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through a server-operated service.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information through AutoLog or a related service, please contact us so that the situation can be reviewed.

11. Security

AutoLog is designed to keep application data locally on your device where possible.

However, no electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your Android device and protecting any backup files you create.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to AutoLog, its features, third-party services, or applicable legal requirements.

Any updated version will be published at the same Privacy Policy URL and will include a revised effective date.
